Strength and Respect

Body in motion. Mind in balance. Spirit strengthened.

Transforming lives through martial arts

At Emma, sport is more than physical activity - it's a path to transformation. We use corporal practices such as martial arts, dance and cooperative games to strengthen self-esteem, promote discipline, develop socio-emotional skills and create opportunities for everyone.

Martial arts are great allies in ethical and emotional training. They teach respect, self-control and overcoming. Our projects help children, teenagers and women in vulnerable situations.

Projects

Martial Arts in Schools

Through partnerships with public schools, we use martial arts as a pedagogical and social transformation tool. Classes develop discipline, focus and respect, helping to build safer and more inclusive school environments.

Defense with Respect

More than self-defense, this project promotes the physical, emotional and social strengthening of girls and women. Through martial arts, they develop self-confidence, mutual respect and the skills to protect themselves with firmness and dignity.

Vital Movement

Inspired by the balance between body, mind and relationships, the Vital Movement values collective play, body expression and active listening. The activities promote connection with oneself and with the group, strengthening bonds, health and joie de vivre.

Body in Action - Physical activities for young people in communities

A space for movement, discovery and belonging. The project encourages accessible and enjoyable sports practices for young people in communities, promoting health, self-esteem and values such as persistence, respect and cooperation.

Body in action, life in transformation

Goals

Self-knowledge and discipline

Knowing yourself is the first step to making good choices. Discipline helps us stay focused on what matters, even when challenges arise.

Violence prevention

Respecting others and knowing how to take a firm stand are ways of avoiding conflict and building a safer environment.

Inclusion and cooperation

Everyone has something to offer. Cooperation is about growing with others, creating a space where everyone feels they belong.

Physical and emotional health

Taking care of your body and mind is essential to living well. Healthy eating, rest, movement and expression of emotions help to maintain balance

Routine, focus and persistence

Having an organized routine gives us the security and clarity to move forward. With focus, we avoid distractions. And with persistence, we overcome difficulties.

We train conscious, healthy and cooperative people who grow with focus, respect and purpose
